Keeping your mind mentally fit isn’t as difficult as you may think! You can add mental exercises to your daily activities that can help you feel better and think more clearly. You don't need to set aside tons of time each day to build your brain muscle, start with scheduling 10-15 minutes for mental fitness. Keep reading for our top four brain building exercises!

Focus on One Task

Sometimes we multitask to try and get more things done at once, but it actually creates more problems than it solves. Try focusing on one task at a time - this will help you improve your concentration and be more productive in the long run. 

Positive Affirmations

Self affirmations, or talking to yourself in a positive way, helps increase your self-confidence, well-being and satisfaction. Start with making a list of your good qualities and remind yourself that you are perfect just as you are.  

Play Games

Brain games are a great way to built mental fitness. Games that test logic and reasoning can help increase your attention span, reaction time, and task-switching abilities. In addition to video games, try board games, crossword puzzles and sudoku!

Read a Book

You've probably been told this plenty of times, but reading really is great for your brain! Reading can help you visualize what you are reading, imagine voices, and ignite your imagination! For some people, reading can also be a great relaxation technique, so set some time aside to open a good book.
